At
Sierra Community
Church, we gather together every Sunday to celebrate our
relationship
with God. We've discovered that God has made a relationship with us
possible through the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ. Many of the songs
we sing and the messages we share during our
worship services assume that a relationship with God has already been
established. And yet we realize that it is quite possible for someone
to join us for worship and not know God in a personal way. If
this is the case with you, may we invite you to
enter into
that personal relationship today.
Join us for worship or come by to talk to
one of the pastors or
other staff members to find out what God has done for each of us.
Our Sunday services include Worship music, teaching from the Bible,
and Sunday School programs for children from 3 years old through high
school. A nursery is provided for children under three years old.
We also join together in small groups for mid-week Bible studies and
prayer.
Our mid-week year-long
children's
programs, BreakOut and KidsQuest, are starting again for the year (on October 13 & 14).
These are classes where children do weekly Bible
studies and gather for worship, fellowship, study and games, allowing our
children to grow closer to God and to learn more from His word. Those
classes follow the vacation schedule of the Lake Tahoe Unified School
District (and any snow days that occur).
Whether you're a visitor to South Lake Tahoe or a full-time
resident, we hope that you'll stop by on Sunday to worship with us.
